That's not a tagline. That's the most honest thing I can tell you about why Oriah Nova exists.
I grew up with Jamaican and Grenadian heritage running through everything. The colours of our flags. The spices in my grandparents' kitchen. The laughter that filled every room without needing a reason. My grandparents taught me pride in where I came from before I even had words for what that meant.
That vibrance never left me. It just needed somewhere to go.
Design is where it went.
To me, colour isn't decoration. It's communication. The right colour can shift your whole mood before you've said a word. It can walk into a room and announce you before you do. It can remind you, on a day when the world is trying to make you smaller, that you are allowed to take up space.
That's what every Oriah Nova piece is built around. Not just how it looks. How it makes you feel when you put it on.
I'm building a brand that bridges fashion, spirituality, and creative wellness. One that embraces imperfection and evolution because the creative journey was never meant to be linear. The nonlinear parts, the pivots, the moments of starting over, that's where the real magic actually happens.
This brand was born from colour, culture, and confidence. And it's still becoming.
